January 6 - At 5:54 p.m., 911 dispatched firefighters to numerous reports of a natural gas odor in the north end of town. The source of the odor was undetermined; firefighters returned to the station at 6:41 p.m.
 
January 8 - At 5:47 p.m., 911 dispatched firefighters to a report of a vehicle accident with unknown injuries on US 61 near Ross Street. There was no accident, the vehicle was having mechanical problems. Firefighters canceled their response and returned to the station.
 
January 8 - At 6:02 p.m., 911 dispatched firefighters to a report of an unresponsive patient at a residence on North Main. Firefighters assisted ambulance personnel and returned to the station at 6:26 p.m.
