The Palmyra Fire Department Fire Line
December 25 - At 9:39 p.m., 911 dispatched first responders to a request for assistance from Marion County Ambulance personnel at a residence on West Hamilton. First responders assisted ambulance personnel in preparing the patient for transport to the hospital and returned to the station at 10:01 p.m.
December 26 - At 2:08 p.m., 911 dispatched firefighters to a report of a single vehicle accident with injuries and possible entrapment on US-61 at Route F south of Palmyra. Firefighters removed one patient from the vehicle, inspected the vehicle for hazards and then assisted ambulance personnel. Firefighters returned to the station at 2:47 p.m.
December 26 - At 3:20 p.m., 911 dispatched firefighters to a report of a single vehicle accident with unknown injuries on US-61 at near County Road 326 south of Palmyra. As an ambulance was responding from Hannibal, firefighters conducted an initial assessment of the patient, inspected the vehicle for hazards and then assisted ambulance personnel. Firefighters returned to the station at 3:51 p.m.
December 27 - At 6:09 a.m., 911 dispatched first responders to a report of a patient with trouble breathing at a residence on County Road 361. First responders assisted ambulance personnel and returned to the station at 6:57 a.m.
December 27 - At 12:34 p.m., 911 dispatched first responders to a report of a patient with trouble breathing at a residence on West Main Cross. First responders assisted ambulance personnel and returned to the station at 12:43 p.m.
December 27 - At 2:19 p.m., 911 dispatched firefighters to a report of a possible vehicle fire on US-61 at Route F south of Palmyra. There was no fire, it was determined to be a mechanical malfunction. Firefighters returned to the station at 2:34 p.m.
